| Heart Alphabet strips and cards Use these alphabet strips as desk plates for your students, or in mini offices. You can also use them as a guide to help students seriate the alphabet cards from a-z. Try using the abc cards for word wall headings also! |
Children can practice their number correspondence skills using this sheet for evidence of learning. Have them cut out the manipulatives on the second sheet and place the appropriate number of hearts on the page. More than one child will be able to use the sheet of manipulatives. |
Use these calendar pieces to help solidify patterning skills and number recognition with your students. Also use them to help with number seriation! |
|
Use these day of the week cards as part of your daily calendar routine! |
Use this spinner to play a graphing game! Print it on cardstock, and laminate. Then, use a pin to poke through the middle of the circle. Place a paperclip on a brad, and put the brad through the hole. Bend the clips from the brad and flick the spinner! If you land on a green rain hat, put a counter in the correct column on the graph! |
Play this game as you would the traditional one! Teach your students strategy and turn taking skills. |
|
Use heart shaped erasers, or small foam hearts as counters to add to your mat. Roll a die or choose a number from a bag and add the corresponding number of heart erasers to the hearts on the mat. Teach one to one correspondence and numeration!
|
Valentine In the Word Not in the Word Activity Cut out the cards and laminate! Students then read the phonetic or sight words to sort onto the appropriate mat. Use the large letter tiles to help build the word before sorting. To self check, keep a library pocket on the back of each card with a copy of the correct words on a card (the template has "in" and "not in" words grouped together) |
|
Print these pages and cut out the pattern cards. Children have fun using foam hearts from the dollar store to copy and extend the patterns. |
Welcome to my printables site! I will be adding new printables each week for you to enjoy! I hope that you find them useful. Please keep in mind that all graphics in my printables are drawn by me using Appleworks. They are original. You are welcome to use them to make copies for classroom use but do not copy my work directly in any message board or website or similar page on the internet. Feel free to post a link to my site on your own website if you would like to share this material with others! Thank you!
